About the Artist:

Josie Lawton of Washington has been an artist most of her life, but in 1989 when Bob Pruner, a body shop owner, put an airbrush in her hands shortly after they met, which she whined about at the time, her talents really began to unfold. Josie's work spans from Cars to Canvas and Motor Homes to Motorcycles. Josie will tell you that painting "bikes" is her greatest passion and represents the majority of their work. With Josie doing all the designing, color selections and artwork, her husband Bob does all of the custom painting and the rest (including the dishes) and laundry which makes them a great team and have some clean dishes and laundry also!

 

Josie is also an Interior Designer and had been teaching Design and Colored Drawing at a local college until this last year when motorcycles have basical taken over her time. Amazingly enough she still does find time to do other things besides work all the time. She is a avid golfer and gets out as much as she can. She plays to about a 18 handicap so she usually is shooting in the 80's along with her girl friend. Bob thinks she should have to tee off from the men's tee boxes because he is tired of her out driving him.
